DESCRIPTION:It hasn't happened often in the history of AB but in\n’09 Irish trio The Script did it easily: selling out the\nABClub and then growing through an ABBox into a completely\nsold out Main Hall. Respect! You're sure to have\nmemorised the singles by this Irish trio: 'We Cry'\n(their debut single)\, 'The Man Who Can't Be\nMoved' and also 'Break Even'. They were all on\nthe untitled debut that sold 1.8 million copies and\neffortlessly adorned the number 1 position in the Irish and\nEnglish charts. They call their sound 'a new brand of\nCeltic Soul'. Agreed\, The Script's music sometimes\ncontains the flow of hip-hop\, a trace of r'n'b and\na serious rock dynamic but\, more than anything else\, we\nhear pure pop melodies. ‘Science & Faith’\, the\nband's new album\, is being released at this very\nmoment\, with that single ‘For The First Time’ as\nforerunner. Ireland can be proud of this band.
