A brand new Warp\ncompilation with tracks by performers that Warp reckons are\ngoing to make it big in 2010. From well-knowns like Flying\nLotus and Rustie to Gonjasufi (by the way: his debut ‘A\nSufi And A Killer’ is sure to be the most surprising album\nof ‘10!)\, Nice Nice\, to this illustrious The Hundred in\nthe Hands. Their debut single ‘Dressed In Dresden’ has\nbeen haunting our heads for weeks now. Raw groovy\npost-punk\, with new wave and disco influences and a touch\nof Bloc Party\, Wire and PIL. Or as the band itself\ndescribes it: “… with carefully composed poly-rhythms\,\njagged guitar lines\, and layered\, breathy vocals\, the\nhundred in the hands keep the raw energy of post-punk\nilluminating their minds and studio one boogie-down beats\nchurning in their guts”.
