The Heavy already drove the ABClub\nwild at the end of 2007\, when we saw a band in top form\nthat coupled the best of Led Zeppelin with soul and funk\nclassics from the Stax and Motown catalogues. Or what they\nthemselves describe as ‘ripping and chopping beats from\nthe likes of Bo Diddley\, Little Walter and The Parliaments\nand fusing them with their now patented brand of high grade\ndirt. Guitar riffs that intoxicate and bass lines that\nreverberate around your head like a King Jammy dream’.
