DESCRIPTION:French-Finnish duo with adventurous pop songs in the\ncategory Kate Bush/Moloko/The Cardigans.‘Both Ways Open\nJaws’ is another extremely experimental pop album by Dan\n(the D) and Olivia (the O)\, together The Dø. ‘The\neccentric couple have a patent on infectious pop melodies’\n(Rif Raf). ‘The Dø conjures ice crystals on the\ntouch-screen of your MP3 player’ (HUMO). A remix-EP -\ncontaining a number tracks from ‘Both Ways Open Jaws’\nreworked by (there's that ø again) Trentemøller and\nVitalic - has just recently been released.Olivia & Dan\nmet in 2005 when they were invited to write a soundtrack\ntogether. Their debut ‘Mouthful’ was released in 2008\nand the single ‘On My Shoulders’ was an immediate hit\nthat carried them to the top of the French album charts. An\ninternational breakthrough and tour soon followed. With the\nnew album this duo again appears unpredictable\, but\nthey're all the more adventurous for it.
