DESCRIPTION:Canadian combo The Dears are in top form on the new\n‘Degeneration Street’. Die hard fans will recognize the\nsame fire in their orchestral pop in 2011 that was so\ncharacteristic of their album ‘No Cities Left’ from 2003\n(and with which they then filled an ABBox). This time too\,\nthe power of the band lies in the golden voice of frontman\nMurray Lightburn. On 14 March you will find the new album in\nstores and it was produced by Tony Hoffer (Phoenix\, Belle\n& Sebastian). Their neo-romanticism certainly soars new\nheights in the advance single ‘Blood’ and it is a\nsampler of what you can expect on ‘Degeneration Street’:\nquicksilver pop\, emotional eruptions and baroque soul.   \nWe'll be opening with the masterly Moss from The\nNetherlands. They released their second album ‘Never Be\nScared/Don’t Be A Hero’\, on the Excelsior label\, to\ngreat excitement of the assembled press and music fans.\nTheir entirely unique sound houses the best of indie-rock\nwith harmonious vocals and has a slightly psychedelic touch.\nPure pop with a twist.                                      \n
