Welcome back The Black\nKeys @ AB! Already immensely popular in 2004\, when the\nABClub sold out in no time and they grew into the ABBox.\nLater\, in 2006\, they effortlessly sold-out that very same\nABBox again. Now with their new long-player ‘Brothers’\,\ntheir first real radio radio hit ‘Tighten Up’ and a\nscorching visit to Rock Werchter behind them\, Dan Auerbach\nand Patrick Carney return once again. De Morgen already\nmentioned the following regarding Rock Werchter: ‘their\nvariant of the blues sounded as it should: raw as a fresh\nbeefsteak\, dirtier than an old pervert\, and with the\nenergy of freshly loaded batteries. (****)'.\n‘Brothers’ is their sixth long-player\, recorded in the\nlegendary Muscle Shoals studio (Aretha Franklin and Wilson\nPickett once recorded there)\, partly produced by Danger\nMouse and mixed by Tchad Blake. This last connection is a\nremnant of their hip-hop project BLAKROC\, in which they\nmixed their primary blues with some of the better hip-hop\nvoices\, like Mos Def\, Q-Tip and RZA.
