DESCRIPTION:New work by the band from ‘Michael Jordan’ and ‘Area\n51’  Superlijm is still Pieter-Jan Delesie\, he who\nconquered radio-waves with the infectious radio hits\n‘Michael Jordan’ and ‘Area 51’. On his imminent\ndebut (out soon on N.E.W.S.) he totally returns to the\n90’s guitar scene and allows himself to be inspired by the\nbest of Guided By Voices\, Pavement\, Dinosaur Jr. and\nGrandaddy\, something that bands like Yuck also succeed well\nin these days. In the meantime\, Superlijm has grown into a\nfive-member band that is now diligently working on its debut\nand will launch it for press and public on Thursday 23\nFebruary. JFJ is a five-member indie folk-rock band from\nLimburg that has already won the pop competition Limbomania.\nAfter some messing around with demos and on various stages\,\nJFJ decided to occupy Anton Walgrave's farmhouse and\nrecord a wonderfully fine EP. It couldn't go wrong with\nStaf Verbeeck (Hooverphonic\, Metal Molly\, dEUS) on the\ndials at the Jet studio in Brussels. JFJ sounds a bit like\nEels visiting Wilco\, while they sit listening to what Bob\nDylan was doing when all four Beatles were still alive. With\nsold-out concerts by Customs\, Balthazar\, The Tellers\,\nAddicted Kru Sound feat. Selah Sue and Intergalactic\nLovers\, we've presented a number of much talked-about\nCoca-Cola Sessions over the last 2 seasons.
