French\nfoursome Stuck in The Sound are about to break through with\ntheir third studio album ‘Pursuit’ (released here on 30\nJanuary by PIAS). They appeared on the radar of leading\nFrench weekly Les Inrockuptibles with their debut\n‘Nevermind The Living Dead’ and associated single\n‘Toyboy’. On successor ‘Shoegazing Kids’ they\nmanaged to channel their energy and at the same time\nperfected their songs. On their ‘difficult’ third album\nthey succeed wonderfully in writing an album full of hits\,\nfrom subdued melodies to heroic rock. A concert to look\nforward to.    Justin Timberlake meets Blood Red Shoes. Huh?\nThat’s right\, honey! Melodious\, danceable pop played by\ndirty devils. After several months of roaming as a one-man\nband\, it occurred to Koenraad De Pauw that The Jack London\nShow might actually be more impressive as a four-piece band.\nResult? A combination of dancability and rawness.           \n
