DESCRIPTION:Starsailor saw the light of day in the year 2000. The\nband's name was derived from a work by the late Tim\nBuckley. It is\, at the same\, also a homage to this\nexceptional performer. Starsailor's praises were\nfrequently sung from the start. Many consider them as the\nfuture of the new British scene. James Walsh\, James\nStelfox\, Ben Byrne and Barry Westhead\, all from the north\nof England\, first gave a concert in April 2000. A little\nlater they sign a contract with EMI. First album 'Love\nIs Here' was a bull's-eye\, carried by appealing\ninternational hit singles ‘Fever’\, ‘Good Souls’ and\n‘Alcoholic’. Starsailor worked together with legend Phil\nSpector for their second album\, ‘Silence is Easy’. Once\nagain they present true gems such as ‘Silence is Easy’\nand ‘Four To The Floor’. Starsailor's following\nsteadily grew. ‘On The Outside’ (2005) sounds different.\nThe album is a lot more personal and stands out due to its\nraw sound. Album 4 has been out for a few months now. Top\nproducer Steve Osbourne worked on ‘All The Plans’ with\nthem\, a fantastic and\, especially\, a mature album.\nWalsh's elegance combined with profound\, lyrical texts\ndeliver a passionate piece of work. Single ‘Tell Me It’s\nNot Over’ is possibly one of the most beautiful Starsailor\nsongs. The Englishmen would like to make a date with Belgian\nfans for an already magical concert on Tuesday 29 September!\n   Ginga requires a few listens\, as their sound unites\nsugary-sweet violins\, R&B\, punk attitude\, choirs and\norgans\, simple riffs and eccentric percussion. But then\nthis does produce a very unique sound\, something that\ndidn't go unnoticed on Belgian radio (you can hear their\nsingle ‘Fashion’ regularly) and James Walsh from\nStarsailor is a fan too – as he personally chose them as\nsupport act on Tuesday 29 September. Their album is only\ngoing to be released in February 2010\, on new Belgian label\nLevel 11\, but you can already discover a few songs at\nmyspace.com                                GINGA\n‘Fashion’
