The debut ‘Pleasure’ was\nreleased via Acephale Records (Salem\, Porcelain Raft\,\nKingdom\,…) and contains quite some echoes of Jesus And\nMary Chain\, My Bloody Valentine and also – brace yourself\n– The Everly Brothers. Pitchfork blessed the album with a\nsolid 7.6\, that's an honour. That other influential\nmusic-blog Strereogum already placed them in their ‘Top 20\nalbums of 2011 so far’ too. 9:00 pm Sleep ∞ Over\n(us)"What Beach House might sound like if they played\nin a graveyard." Their debut\n‘Forever’ is to be released later this year on Hippos In\nTanks\, the label on which Hype Williams\, Games (=1/2\nOneohtrix Point Never) and Laurel Halo also reside. Sleep\n∞ Over has barely been around for a year and it revolves\naround frontlady Stefanie Franciotti. We certainly hear many\nechoes of Beach House\, Cults and psychedelic dream-pop at\nits best.
