In full his name is of\ncourse Seun Ransome Anikulapo Kuti and\, more than other\noffspring of this exceptional family\, Seun sounds like the\nworthy successor to the much talked-about Nigerian frontman.\nFela Kuti was an intriguing politian\, musician and clan\nleader. His trademark was incredibly long\, but especially\nexceptionally hypnotic\, Afrobeat masterpieces and\nsledgehammer blows. Just think of the 'International\nTT'\, 'Sorrow Tears And Blood'... Son Seun\ndoesn't let down the side: with the solid chest bared\,\nof course \, he announces frank slogans like 'Don't\nGive That Shit To Me' on his sweltering debut CD\n'Many Things' (here via Bang!) How tasty it sounds\n(while the messages eagerly nestle in your head). This is\nthe power of a real\, solid\, inevitable Afrobeat: feel free\nto let yourself go (and come back again when it's done\,\nif you still can). AfroBeat @ AB!
