DESCRIPTION:Selah Sue\, our 2009 artiest-in-residence\, is currently\nworking very hard on her debut album. She has now\naccumulated quite a lot of live experience\, though solo and\nto support an EP that she was able to record in the\nABstudio. You surely know the hit 'Black Part Love'\nfrom that period. In the meantime\, she's now signed a\nrecord deal with prestigious French record company Because\nand\, to highlight the release of her first single on that\nlabel\, Selah Sue will soon play her first concerts with a\nlive band: April 2010 at Karma Hotel in Oostende\, for our\nneighbours from the Botanique\, and on Friday 16 April in\nthe ABClub.Selah Sue is that singer-songwriter from Leuven\nwho was discovered by Milow and meanwhile also shares a\nmanager with Gabriel Rios. No great surprise\, as those who\nhave already seen her perform know that she is one of\nBelgium's big promising talents. "I write like a\nsinger-songwriter but prefer to sing 'black music'.\nSoul or blues or ska or ragga or drum'n'bass. Rhythm\nand colour".
