DESCRIPTION:With his new album ‘Hvelreki’\, Piet Goddaer writes\nthe next chapter of the impressive works of his musical\nalter ego Ozark Henry. Over the last two years\, Goddaer has\nwritten over fifty songs\, which he has distilled into his\nsixth studio album. Its title refers to an expression used\nin Iceland to wish someone good luck. Literally translated\nit means ‘may a whole whale wash up on your beach’. With\nthis positive message\, Ozark Henry managed to convince the\nproducer Youth (U2\, The Verve\, Crowded House) to produce\nthe new album. Youth is also well known as the bass player\nin Killing Joke. Together\, they headed off to a remote\nstudio in Spain where they recorded the album live. Since\nthen\, Goddaer has come under the wing of EMI who are\nreleasing the album in no fewer than seven European\ncountries. And\, to lend weight to this release\, Ozark\nHenry is returning to the place he knows best: the AB.      \n
