Baldwin didn't only work on the Dirty\nProjectors and Björk collaboration (read: rock opera)\n‘Mount Wittenberg Orca’ over the past year\, he also\nreleased a 4th album under his own name in the meantime.\n‘People Changes’ sounds – regardless of his quoted\nbackground – exceptionally intimate. The right stuff for\nDirty Projectors fans who just can't do without their\nband live and want to explore further.    Dirty\nProjectors-bassist Nat Baldwin's concert will be a real\ndouble bill. As Benoît Pioulard will be completing the\nprogramme that evening. Benoît Pioulard is the nom de plume\nof American singer/guitarist/pianist Thomas Meluch. His most\nrecent albums - ‘Precis’\, ‘Temper’ and ‘Lasted’\n- were released via prestigious American label Kranky and\nhad their virtues extolled by the (underground) press. The\nMilk Factory wrote: “His albums are infinite treasure\ntroves.” and Pitchfork praised: "Pioulard's\nsongwriting has never been stronger.” and sent the album\noff with a high score of 7.9. But don't expect classic\nsongwritership\, Meluch interlaces his songs with field\nrecordings that make the result even more surprising and\ndreamy.
