DESCRIPTION:An exception: no reservation fees charged for musicians day\ntickets.    Bands and musicians have had to wait a while\,\nbut it's back: Poppunt's Musicians Day! Be sure to\nmark Saturday 23 November in fifty shades of fluo in your\ndiary\, because that's when the Brussels' AB is\nagain the place to be for everyone who makes\, or loves\nmusic. We looked back over ten fantastic editions and found\nthat it could be a little different this year…   \nDifferent\, you say? Yup\, the code word for this edition\nwill be ‘inspiration’\, with the concert hall of AB as\nepicentre. No masterclasses on stage any more\, but rather\nsessions\, readings and cases. No Playground in the Main\nHall\, but rather YOU\, our fantastic audience. We'll be\nserving you topics in which various experts\, musicians and\nother experienced folk will bombard you with know-how\,\ninsights and of course the requisite dashes of music (duh).\nThat will no longer take place in 1-hour sessions\, given by\none speaker\, but rather via a programme consisting of only\nlarge ‘cases’ in which various approaches will be\naddressed. Do we have your attention…?    As far as\nspeakers are concerned\, you can expect a number of\nwell-reputed international names\, a heap of established\nhomegrown names and a number of sizeable surprises. They\ntake on cases like ‘the importance of a signature\nsound’\, ‘the musical identity of an artist’\, ‘the\nalbum as statement’\, ‘the expansion of the band’\,...\n. In so doing\, Muzikantendag wants to evolve from teaching\nto become a source of inspiration\, and send the visitor\nhome with a head full of ideas\, desire\, more know-how\,\nstories\, etc. After all\, those who want to follow lessons\ncan find an ample offering in local music centres and\nschools these days. With Muzikantendag we want to do that\nlittle bit more and become an extensive platform for\nmusical\, creative and business inspiration and the exchange\nof knowledge\, whereby we touch upon all facets the musician\nwill encounter… Without ambition\, one starts nothing\,\nno?    That doesn't mean that we throw away everything\nfrom the past. The ever popular demo feedback is a stayer of\ncourse. We think that's quite logical\, as what is more\ninformative for a musician than receiving tips and feedback\nfrom professionals in the sector?    Feedback on your\ntracks? Check! Feedback on your bio? Yes! Feedback on your\npress releases? That too! We again provide a small army of\nmusic professionals with whom you can enter into a very\npersonal conversation. Tip: keep an eye on the website to\nmake a reservation for your tête-à-tête.    In the more\nintimate setting of the AB Club we will provide smaller\nsessions with more hands-on info from the musicians\nthemselves. We'll serve various genres there: from\n(hard) rock to pop to funk and soul. Don't only look\nforward to unbelievable insights\, but also to a serious\nserving of music. All that in the best possible acoustic\ncircumstances. High five!    If all that isn't enough\,\nthen you can seek advice from our pop advisers in Huis 23\nfor the business side of your music journey. You can get\ntips on building your rehearsal space\, filling in and\nunderstanding Sabam forms\, promotional tips\, etc. Take the\nstairs up to our Tower\, which will be transformed into a\nmusical production space for the occasion. Here you can\nbecome acquainted with the latest software used for\nrecording\, arrangements and production. This is certainly\nan invitation to come spin the dials yourself.
