DESCRIPTION:Up-tempo pastoral folk is about the first musical\ndescription that pops into your head when you first listen\nto debut album ‘Sigh No More’ from Mumford & Sons.\nThe band then also originated heart of the new London folk\nscene to which performers like Noah & The Whale and\nLaura Marling also belong. First single ‘Little Lion\nMan’ developed into a downright hit in our flat country\,\nwith massive airplay on Radio 1\, Studio Brussel and\, yes\,\neven MNM. In the meantime there is already another new\nsingle ‘Winter Winds’ and many of us can now also sing\nalong to ‘The Cave’. HUMO spoke of ‘cast-iron songs’\nin the album review and their brilliant visit to Crossing\nBorder in Antwerp last November obliged Mumford & Sons\nto a new concert\, this time in the AB and then on Tuesday\n27 April.    Support act will be British singer-songwriter\nJohnny Flynn. He cites musical influences as diverse as John\nFahey and The Pixies but just as easily enjoys Yeats and\nShakespeare as he spends the other half of his time on\ntheatre stages. For the trivia-hunters amongst you: Flynn\nstudied at the Bedales School where he shared the classes\nwith Lily Allen\, Luke Pritchard from The Kooks and Patrick\nWolf.
