DESCRIPTION:8:00 pm TommigunTommigun is the new project of Thomas Devos\n(Rumplestitchkin)\, Joeri Cnapelinckx (Kawada) and singer\nKaat Arnaert. Musical friends are the likes of The Black\nHeart Procession and Scout Niblett... and that is no\naccident. Tommigun makes music that sometimes sounds\ndesolate but at the same time delicately beautiful and at\nother times raw but reserved. Or as they say themselves:\n‘heartbreakhangover tunes\, explosive bursts of anger’.\nThe recordings for their first album ‘Come Watch Me\nDisappear’ took place in San Diego with musicians from the\nCalifornian indie-rock scene and with Pall Jenkins (Black\nHeart Procession) as producer. This spring they toured\nEurope as the perfect warm-up to Daniel Johnston. 9:00 pm\nMintzkovThe Mintzkov concert in the AB Box is a more than\nworthy closer to a successful Mintzkov year. First there was\nwas the release of their excellent and considerably\nacclaimed third album 'Rising Sun\, Setting Sun'.\nHumo readily gave it a ****-review. Their singles ‘Opening\nFire’ and recently ‘Author of the Play’ were played\nconsiderably on the radio. ‘De Afrekening’-voters were\nvery favourable of them and catapulted them into the upper\nregions. Not only the summer concert-season is well filled\n(with Dour and Pukkelpop as highlights) but also the end of\nyear season. So it is that the band will be touring in\nthrough France\, Germany\, Switzerland and Austria in\nautumn.
