DESCRIPTION:This Swedish metal band with a sense of experiment is\nworking on a well-earned takeover. Their latest album\n'obZen' has contributed to that goal too\, of\ncourse: 9 knock-out songs that just recently carried them\nthrough Europe at the side of Dillinger Escape Plan - that\nother trendsetter of the genre. This fivesome has been\naround since 1987 and operates more and more on the cutting\nedge between Tool\, Ministry and Slayer. They're known\nfor their technical craftsmanship and their predilection for\npoly-rhythm (in which several rhythms sometimes appear to\ncollide in the same song). That has already earned them\ndiverging descriptions like avant-garde metal or\nexperimental hard jazz. They'll be returning to Belgium\nonce again on 15 September\, with their solidly played sixth\nstudio album. myspace British death-metal band Trigger The\nBloodshed joins the somewhat phenomenal Meshuggah on their\nEuropean tour. Their album 'Purgation' will be\nreleased August 22 on the Metal Blade label.
