DESCRIPTION:Mark Eitzel is frontman of\, and subsequently that tormented\nvoice that we know from\, American Music Club. The latter\nplayed a brilliant sold-out ABClub concert in February 2008.\nBut back to Eitzel\, who will be releasing a new solo CD in\nSeptember (here via V2) and that must just about be his\ntenth solo effort. The most memorable in the row was\, until\nnow\, ‘West’ in 1997\, which he wrote together with\nR.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck. Then on ‘Caught in a Trap and\nI Can't Back Out 'Cause I Love You Too Much\,\nBaby’ in 1998 he was assisted by Steve Shelley from Sonic\nYouth and James McNew from Yo La Tengo. Mark Eitzel will\nshare the stage live with pianist Marc Capelle (American\nMusic Club member from 2003 to 2006).                       \n
