The group was\nformed in 1993\, by Alan Sparhawk (guitar and vocals)\, Mimi\nParker (drums and vocals) and original bassist John Nichols\n(bass guitar). Zak Sally replaced Nichols after Low’s\nfirst album and tour. In 2005\, Sally quit the band; Matt\nLivingston replaced him shortly thereafter. In 2008 Steve\nGarrington took over on bass creating the current lineup of\nSparhawk\, Parker and Garrington.    Pinback    Pinback are\nan indie rock band from San Diego\, California\, currently\nsigned to Temporary Residence Ltd.. The band was formed in\n1998 by singers\, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists\nArmistead Burwell Smith IV (also known as Zach Smith\, a\nformer member of Three Mile Pilot and the primary member of\nSystems Officer) and Rob Crow formerly of Thingy\, Heavy\nVegetable\, and Goblin Cock. First acquainted as roommates\,\nthey began making recordings in their home\, playing along\nto pre-recorded beats.    Bill Callahan    Bill Callahan\n(born 1966)\, also known as Smog and (Smog)\, is an American\nsinger-songwriter born in Silver Spring\, Maryland. Callahan\nbegan working in the lo-fi genre of underground rock\, with\nhome-made tape-albums recorded on four track tape recorders.\nLater he began releasing albums with the label Drag City\,\nto which he remains signed today.
