On the road\, again under her\nown name\, and she’ll be bringing 'One Good Thing'\nwith her... her new\, third CD.'One Good Thing' was\napparently recorded rather quickly but still contains the\nsort of timeless songs that fans of Nick Drake or Nico are\nalso keen on. Vocals and guitar should suffice\, plus here\nand there a little extra ornamentation. With subjects close\nto Miss Rhodes’s heart: her deceased sister\, sorrow and\nresurrection... We also eagerly pick up the thread of what\nwe reported on her previous visit: 'Lou Rhodes is a\nBritish singer-musician\, an extremely intriguing and\nhealthy lady\, and she is ‘in love with being in\nlove’... Poetic thus. But then pop-poetry that searches\nand flirts. Remember Lamb compositions like\n'Gorecki'\, 'Cottonwool'\,\n'Gabriel'… Or even Lou’s fine set at Dranouter\n2006!?' Of course also that previous\, sold-out ABClub\ntoo!
