'Will The Wolf Survive?'\nWell\, at the time\, that song was our first encounter and\nnow we're certain: Los Lobos are survivors! L.A.'s\nChicano roots-rock pride for more than 35 years now! A solid\ngroup of five audacious musicians from Los Angeles (and the\nlegendary Steve Berlin has been amongst the members for long\nenough now too.)You know Los Lobos from 'La Bamba'\,\nof course\, but hopefully also from albums like\n'Kiko' and 'La Pistola Y El Corazon'. Or you\ncould compare them with Ry Cooder's recent American\nMexican repertoire. Los Lobos are just as surprisingly\ndiverse in their musical show: folklore as well as staunch\nrock or fiery funk up to and including sensational\nsoundscape trips. Always spot on\, and usually all those\ngenres are presented in the space of just one CD or concert.\nSo too on their latest masterpieces 'Good Morning\nAztlan' and 'The Town And The City'... at which\ntime we would like to once more take up the thread of DE\nSTANDAARD: 'de groep kiest voor melancholie en voor\nbroeierige\, rauwe americana....' or MAD Le Soir:\n'...une trajectoire impeccable en brassant rock\,\ntex-mex\, r'n'b\, traditionnels mexicains ou\nmorceaux plus expérimentaux... excelle dans tous les\ngenres...' Of course we also expect that musical\nabundance on the new CD to be released in the spring of 2010\n(apparently with yet another entertaining snack to keep us\ngoing this year: 'Los Lobos Goes Disney!') But\nespecially: you're sure to totally loosen up to Los\nLobos once more (and we're also curious which appealing\ncover they'll be closing their set with this time?)   \nSolid support act will be Fred Lani & Superslinger.\nPreviously Fred & The Healers\, thus not unknown in the\nAB. Now proudly present with new CD 'Second Life'\nand an extremely modern blues sound.
