DESCRIPTION:Warning: Smoking Ban inspection during Little Dragon on\nSunday 15 May 2011Since 1 January 2006 it has no longer been\npermitted to smoke in public places\, so not in AB either.\nAfter consultation between AB and the Federal Department of\nPublic Health\, Food-Chain Safety and the Environment\,\nthere will be a number of inspections carried out in the AB\nover the coming months by the Public Health department.The\nnext inspection will be on the during the Little Dragon\nConcert on Sunday May 15th 2011.    James Blake is currently\nraising eyebrows with his version of Feist's ‘Limit To\nYour Love’. Rightly so too. But those who take another\nlisten to ‘Twice’ from Sweden's Little Dragon will\nget just as many goosebumps. That fantastic song is to be\nfound on the untitled debut (2007) with which they visited\nthe AB as opener for José Gonzàlez. Three years and 1\nalbum later (‘Machine Dreams’ from 2009) this\nelectronica-pop-outfit centred around Swedish-Japanese\nsinger Yukimi Nagano has toured the world as part of the\nGorillaz ‘Escape To Plastic Beach’ tour. Logical\nreally\, as Nagano and her Little Dragon companions Fredrik\nKällgren Wallin and Håkan Wirenstrand co-wrote the\nGorillaz tracks ‘Empire Ants’ and ‘To Binge’. This\nspring Little Dragon will release a third studio album and\nwe're just as curious as you are about the result. A\nfirst live inspection in the ABClub on Sunday 15 May.   \nThus:Owls stems from the brain of Swede Erika Angell. A\nsuccessor to debut ‘Cardiac Malformations’ is to follow\nin late 2011\, one which was recorded in a castle near\nParis. She and the Swedish and Canadian musicians in her\nband earned their stripes with acts like Koop\, Loney Dear\nand Patrick Watson. Erika seeks experiment with Thus:Owls\,\nwhile her tremendous voice still claims all the attention.\n‘They play playfully but also threateningly\,\ntheatrically. They put on a show that stands like a house\nand that the whole house falls for’.
