DESCRIPTION:Formed in Brighton in 1988\, Levellers broke through\nworldwide three years later with the album 'Levelling\nThe Land'. Songs like 'One Way'\, '15\nYears'\, 'Far From Home'\, 'Liberty\nSong' or 'Battle Of The Beanfield' redefined the\nBritish music landscape in 1991 and laid the foundations for\nthe following three decades. In 2020\, the group released a\nnew studio album with 'Peace'\, which immediately\nlanded at eighth place in the UK Official Album Charts. Two\nyears earlier\, they had already come in at 12 with 'We\nThe Collective'\, a record full of acoustic arrangements\nof previous hit songs in a production by John Leckie\n(Radiohead\, Stone Roses\, Novastar) and recorded with an\neight-piece string ensemble at the legendary Abbey Road\nStudios. Surfing further on the acoustic success of that\nalbum\, 2023 released a follow-up\, 'Together All The\nWay'\, and an accompanying acoustic theatre tour in\nMarch.2023 was a special year for Levellers anyway. Not only\ndid they celebrate the joy of being a band for 35 years. The\n'Beautiful Days Festival'\, founded by the band\nmembers\, also had 20 years on the clock. It grew into one\nof the biggest independent festivals in the UK.For the AB\nconcert\, the instruments are plugged back in to add power\nto their well-known folk or indie rock with punk influences.\nAnd this under the watchful eye of original members Mark\nChadwick (vocals\, guitar\, banjo)\, Jeremy Cunningham\n(bass\, bouzouki)\, Charlie Heather (drums) and John Sevink\n(fiddle)\, supplemented by Dan Donnelly (guitar) and Matt\nSavage (vocals\, keyboards).
