Late of the Pier is a very\nyouthful British dance-wave phenomenon that is clearly\ninfluenced by bands like Bloc Party\, Cut Copy and Art Brut\nbut equally well by DJ Hell and Erol Alkan (who also\nproduced their second single). Currently talk of the town in\n2 Many DJ's land due to their fantastic debut\n'Fantasy Black Channel'. myspace We'll be\nopening with the humor/poetry/laptop/hip-hop of Dan Le Sac\nvs. Scroobius Pip. This duo from Essex presents a rather\nstrange mash-up of the forms of expression just mentioned\nand funnily enough this results in a party sound that\nactivates both laugh and dance muscles. Our radio stations\nembraced the single 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' with\nthat summary of bands ('all just bands!')\, and they\ncurrently score with their cut-up mash-up single 'Letter\nFrom God To Man' based on a Radiohead sample from\n'Planet Telex'.
