Spring\n2007: they were first an immense revelation in the ABClub\,\nwith their debut 'Clavell Morenet'. We take up the\nthread: 'Immensely exciting project from\nsinger-accordionist Joan Garriga - ex Dusminguet and so\,\ntogether with Ojos De Brujo\, Amparanoia and Macaco\,\nresponsible for the best Spanish mestizo music. An\nabsolutely irresistible mix of cumbia\, rumba\, vallenato\,\nreggae\, salsa\, raï... the whole world in their hands and\nat your feet! Radio 1 already spontaneously chose the songs\nMirame and Calor\, Calor as favourites. Hey chico\, check\nthis out!' After their visits here to the likes of the\nEsperanzah Festival\, we can only whole heartedly\nagree!Second act will be\, not forgetting 'Bonito':\nJarabe de Palo\, that motley crew around Pau Donés. Now\nwith a new collection of reinterpretations and the CD is\nthen also called 'Orquesta Reciclando'. For their\nlast visit to the AB\, De Standaard wrote: 'Spanish\nsuper-group is homesick for the seventies… like a funky\nincarnation of Santana... the audience was mad about them\n... live it was a scrumptiously swinging\, varied flight…\nbubbling rumba-rhythm ... this band's secret weapon: it\nuses all sorts of garnishes from rock (especially bluesy\nintro's and riffs)\, from salsa and from hip-hop\, but\nbuilds the songs upon a Spanish feeling.'A neo-olé\nfeeling!?
