DESCRIPTION:‘Invented’\, the seventh studio album by Jimmy Eat\nWorld\, comes out on 24 September. You can already listen to\ntheir new single ‘My Best Theory’ on their website.\nFormed in 1993 in Mesa\, Arizona\, the band has come a long\nway. Starting out as a punk rock group influenced by Fugazi\nand Sunny Day Real Estate\, the foursome developed the\nblueprint of what is now known as emo. Singer/guitarist Jim\nAdkins & co. became the first major emo band of the\npre-MySpace era in 2001 following the release of ‘Bleed\nAmerican’. They had further successes with the albums\n‘Futures’ in 2004 and ‘Chase This Light’ in 2007. To\npresent their new album to their Belgian audience\, Jimmy\nEat World will return to the AB once more on 4\nNovember.‘Omni’ is American five-piece Minus The\nBear's follow up to ‘Planet Of Ice’. This will be\nreleased this summer\, days after their Pukkelpop concert.\nThe band has been appearing on our radar since 2005 (with\nthe CD ‘Menos El Oso’). The varied and adventurous\,\neven athletically arranged songs wrong-footed the public\nagain and again\, but nevertheless those melodies stayed in\none's head for days.
