DESCRIPTION:Jessica Lea Mayfield\, only 19\, recorded a demo in her\nbedroom at the age of 15 and then had it distributed in 100\ncopies. One of those landed in the hands of Black Keys\nguitarist Dan Auerbach and\, after meeting\, Jessica spent 2\nyears camping on and off in Auerbach’s studio in Akron\,\nOhio for her debut ‘With Blasphemy\, So Heartfelt’.\nMeanwhile the album has been released worldwide and the\npraise is still streaming in:‘I think she’s dark and\nmoody in a mysterious way\, not unlike Nick Cave and the Bad\nSeeds’. This folky\nsinger-songwriter has already appeared on our stage twice\nwhile carrying his breathtaking debut ‘Ash Wednesday’.\n‘Elvis Perkins In Dearland’\, that's the title of\nthe soon to be released successor. Once again a fine\ncollection of folk-pop songs that tack between Dylan and Van\nMorrison. The evening will be kicked off by pride of our\nfatherland: Krakow. They too have already enriched our stage\non countless occasions with their alt-slowcore. As\nprivileged fans\, we heard recently a number of new songs\nfrom ‘Far Away Look’\, which is to be released in March.\nOn it\, the fivesome from Limburg gives a good shot in the\ndirection of country and traditional americana.
