Jan\nis afflicted with more musical baggage than anyone would\never want to climb the Himalaya with.Kim Duchateau in-house\ncartoonist to De Morgen\, makes hilarious comic strips about\nÜberbabe Ester Verkest for P-Magazine and provides\nillustrations for various magazines and newspapers. In 2007\nhe won the Brass Adhemar\, the Flemish Community Cultural\nPrize for Comics.Looking at songs and singing along with\ndrawings.Musical omnivore Jan De Smet and cartoonist Kim\nDuchateau present a fantastic new entertainment formula: the\ncomic strip concert.This is how it goes: Jan presents\nall-time children's songs on accordion\, banjo\, ukulele\nand guitar. Evergreens ('Kortjakje'\,\nMoriaantje'\, 'Onder moeders paraplu'\, … )\nbut also recent work ('Steek Je Vinger In De\nLucht'\, 'Alles Goed'\, …) with which he has\nbecome such a great friend of children over past years. Kim\nsits\, well-behaved\, next to Jan and makes a mischievous\ndrawing for each song. A camera hangs above his drawing\ntable. The images are projected on a huge screen behind the\ntwo. So that it looks like – woops – a video clip is\nborn while you're boisterously singing along.Funny\,\nentertaining and surprising. What will that crazy Kim's\npen conjure this time? Will he get his drawing finished on\ntime? What are Jan and Kim hatching there? Or what trick are\nthey putting together? It remains exciting until the last\nbreath\, as everyone has a chance of taking home an\nAUTHENTIC Kim. All drawings will be hung out after the show\nin a mini-expo. Everyone receives a ticket befor the show\,\nwhich gives them the chance to win a unique item.Cheerfully\nchatting along\, feasting your eyes\, laughing\, jumping and\nmaybe even winning.
