This classically\ntrained pianist/composer could previously be heard as\nperformer and/or arranger on albums by dEUS\, Daan\,\nMagnus\, Tim Vanhamel and also Admiral Freebee. Best known\nis Tom Barman and Guy Van Nueten's live double-CD\n(simply titled: ‘Live’) from 2003\, for which Van Nueten\nwrote and performed the piano-arrangements. Van Nueten has\nalso composed music for various theatre- and\ndance-productions and also for films. Remember his\norchestrations for the Royal Flemish Philharmonic\nOrchestra\, the musical ‘Soepkinders’ (crowned with a\nmusical-award)\, music for the film ‘Eva reste au\nplacard...’ by director Alex Stockman and also a\ncollaboration with Les Ballets C. de la B. This fall\n‘Merg’ will be released (via Bang! Music)\, a\ncontemporary classic album with an entirely own universe\ncontaining references to the likes of baroque and Bach. The\nsong titles certainly already sound superb: ‘Adagio niet\nin B’\, ‘Agressie var. 1’ of ‘Impro De Vrucht’.\nLive\, the roles will be swapped for a change: Van Nueten\nwill perform IN THE HALL on this evening.
