GORKI's ninth\nstudio-album is now in shops and is\, as always with\nanything that Vos takes on\, again a gem in the\n(inter)national music landschape. As usual\, Vos and his\nwant to follow up the CD release\, performances in beery\nsmelling halls and muddy festival fields by rounding this\nperiod off in dignity in Flemish and Dutch theatres... and\nthat with a broad programme in which multi-media once again\nplays a main role. By presenting a giant elephant during the\nprevious theatre tour (29 people narrowly avoiding being\nflattend by the colossus)\, and also an entire fanfare on\nstage (28 people still haven't gotten over the din) and\nthe blinding naked images of Vos and his Dutch beauty (27\npeople as good as blind) it was clear that things\ncouldn't continue like this. Seeing as Vos has no plans\nto keep it simpler this time either\, the lawyers of all\nparties involved have worked out the following arrangement:\nAn obligatory comment on all internal and external\ncommunication: 'FOR THE MATURE YOUTH!!!' (For the\nGorki-layperson: that is also the title of Gorki's ninth\nCD\, and so Vos is Luc De Vos\, the impressive Gorki\nfrontman.)    Support-act will be none less than Tom Pintens\n(with a new album out by mid February)! Tom Pintens (still\nex- Flowers For Breakfast and Zita Swoon) has finished a new\nalbum with the pleasing title ‘Winter maakt ons\nvrolijk’. The first single will be ‘Charleroi’. The\nalbum will be released on 16 February by V2 Records. Tom\nwill be touring with Gorki in the Spring of 2009! This tour\npromises to be an exciting series of live concerts in which\nGorki and Tom Pintens will be seen and heard at work\n“together\, apart and next to one another”.
