DESCRIPTION:Goose from Kortrijk is totally back! Following on\nfrom the impressive and explosive debut ‘Bring It On’\n(that already dates from ’06)\, their second album\n‘Synrise’ has now arrived. An album that refers to the\nnew wave electro of the 80's but also to – are you\nseated? – the ethereal synthesizers of Jean-Michel Jarre\nand Vangelis really. The latter is certainly no great\nsurprise as\, at the last Soulwaxmas Festival in Antwerp\,\nthe band even covered ‘Pulstar’ by Vangelis. The band\nsays of this slight change in direction: " There is one\nconstant factor: we want to keep surprising ourselves. To\nsurprise is more important than to renew". You already\nknow the single ‘Words’ (with those intense Depeche Mode\nechoes) and soon you'll be singing along\, at the top of\nyour voice\, to the next single ‘Can’t Stop Me Now’.\nAnother nice detail: if you are of the opinion that the\ncover of ‘Synrise’ looks remarkably Pink Floyd-ish then\nyou'd be right. It was designed by none less than Storm\nThorgerson\, the man who provided the artwork for Pink\nFloyd’s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’. Those who saw Goose\nlive at work at both Pukkelpop and I Love Techno must then\nknow what it's like to behold one of the most impressive\nlive-bands in the genre.                                    \n
