You Will Get Well Soon' is (to put it\nmildly) a most bizarre title for the debut album of the\nGerman band Get Well Soon. Well now 'band' maybe a\nbig word\, as the 25 year-old German Konstantin Gropper\nwrote this fine CD entirely alone. Musically he finds\ninspiration in diverse genres like electronica\,\nsoundtracks\, Motown pop and darker alt.rock. Perfect stuff\nfor fans of Arcade Fire\, The National\, or even Radiohead.\nTake into account his daring (he even puts Underworld's\n'Born Slippy' through the wringer) and the mildly\neuphoric album reviews (**** Uncut) and we can speak of a\ntalented and successful eastern neighbour. 'Moi Et Mon\nCamion'\, that was the moving title of the third Merz\nalbum. Behind this remarkable four-letter-word hides a\nhermit\, the Brit called Conrad Lambert. Acoustic guitars\,\nfinely finished arrangements and Lambert's almost\nwhispering voice are the most important characteristics.\nThis is immediately also the most impressive album of his\ncareer: 5 stars in The Sunday Times and The Independent\, 4\nstars in leading magazines Mojo\, Uncut and Q\, and HUMO\nbegged us not to let this album disappear amongst the\nover-supply.
