Then what do you think about RAz oHARA ANd THE\nodd oRCHESTRA? Behind this strange band-name you will find\,\nin the first place\, RAz oHARA or rather Danish\nBerlin-resident Patrick Rasemussen. A man blessed with a\ndivine larynx that reminds us of that other modern-day\nsoul/funk god - Jamie Lidell. You may know him without\nrealising it - from his previous collaborations with Apparat\n(also from Berlin). Behind THE odd oRCHESTRA\, we recognize\nthe likes of Olivier Doerell - a previous guest at the\nFeeërieën with his band S.W.O.D. They've already\nreleased two relatively minimal albums together\, entitled\n‘I’ and ‘II’ and containing echoes of Four Tet\,\njazz\, dub\, electronica and jazz.9:45 pm - Flip\nKowlierAssertion 1: Flip Kowlier made the first\nfully-fledged dutch-language hip-hop album in Belgium\,\n‘En In Izzegem’\, under the moniker ‘T HOF VAN\nCOMMERCE. Assertion 2: Kowlier has now made the first\nfully-fledged dutch-language dub/reggae album in Belgium\,\n‘Otoradio’. Think: ‘Aux Armes Et Cætera’\, the\nlegendary album by Serge Gainsbourg in ’78 that was\nrecorded with the perfect Jamaican rhythm section: Sly &\nRobbie. The link? Deep basses and a fine parlando. Or\, also\nthink: Doe Maar. You already know the single ‘Mo Ba\nNin’. Tracks like ‘Bad Boy’ (“‘t is ne Bad Boy -\nvliegt dor ut den droi - en de mountainbike - i kapot.) and\n‘Zwembad’ will be known by heart by the end of the\nsummer. We're true fans! The perfect closer for the\nFeeërieën? Oh yeah!
