DESCRIPTION:For the choreographer and film-maker Wim Vandekeybus\,\nFear Not is the pivotal part of the celebrations for Ultima\nVezʼ 25th anniversary. While his legendary debut production\nWhat the Body Does Not Remember is being revived at the\nKVS\, Vandekeybus\, together with the AB\, Vk*\,\nBeursschouwburg and les ateliers claus\, is casting a\nmusical eye to the future. His friend Mauro Pawlowski will\nbe assisting him in four unique dance intermezzos as part of\nthese evening concerts.    All eyes are on the future for\nFEAR NOT. Together with Wim Vandekeybus\, the music-houses\nof Brussels are making a wish-list of musicians who might\ninspire the choreographer over the coming years. With Mauro\nas bridge between past\, present and future\, everyone is\nexpecting an explosive musical 4-dayer. On the programme in\nAB: Dansdans (b)Dans Dans harbours the talents of three\nabsolutely top-class musicians: Bert ‘Flying Horseman’\nDockx\, Fred ‘Lyenn’ Jacques and Steven ‘Dez Mona’\nCassiers. Their music guarantees an unusual mix of\npsychedelica\, deep blues and drony improvisations. Mauro\n& Wim Vandekeybus (b)Mauro Pawlowski provides the\nsoundtrack to dance by Wim Vandekeybus. Spookhuisje (b)AB\nArtist In Residence and hailed by De Morgen as “truely\npromising Brussels talent.”Music runs like a thread\nthrough Wim Vandekeybusʼ oeuvre. Peter Vermeersch\, Thierry\nDe Mey\, David Byrne\, Marc Ribot\, Charo Calvo\,\nEavesdropper\, David Eugene Edwards\, Daan\, Arno\, Mauro\nPawlowski\, Roland Van Campenhout and Elko Blijweert –\nthey have all written music for his productions. In November\n2007 several of them celebrated the 20th anniversary of\nUltima Vez when Vandekeybus transformed the AB into a real\nartistic Valhalla.For Fear Not\, all eyes are on the future.\nTogether with Wim Vandekeybus\, Brusselsʼ music venues are\ndrawing up a wish-list of the musicians who may inspire the\nchoreographer in the next few years.
