Elliot John Gleave was discovered early in his\ncareer by Mike Skinner (of The Streets if you will) and\nreleased 2 singles and debut album on the latter’s The\nBeats label. His first album on the Data label was produced\nby Calvin Harris\, MJ Cole and Chase & Status. The\nrecently released third album ‘Playing In The Shadows’\nwas made with help from Nero\, Faithless and Laidback Luke. \n  With the assistance of vi.be and Poppunt\, AB organised a\nsearch for a suitable support-act for British sensation\nExample on March 7. The ideal support-act was found (and\napproved by Example himself) and The Dead Color may call\nitself the lucky one. Crackling vinyls\, yellowed film\nposters\, analogue synthesizers\, a microphone and a\ncomputer. The perfect line-up for Erik VH\, who distils\nsharp songs with a beating heart\, covered by a sauce of\nold-school synths à la Kraftwerk\, New Order and Giorgio\nMoroder. Were immediately noticed by Studio Brussel at the\nend of 2011 with the song 'Reds'.
