DESCRIPTION:Because both AB and Le Botanique firmly believe in this\nband’s potential\, Dez Mona will be taking on the capital\ntwice in one week for the CD-release of their latest album\n'Hilfe Kommt'. That will be happening on Tuesday 20\nOctober in the AB and Friday 23 October in Le Botanique.Dez\nMona first performed in the AB in ’04\, as part of the\nCarte Blanche weekend while Mauro Pawlowski was waving the\nprogramming-sceptre. In the meantime\, the band has already\nappeared on the AB stage a number of times (including as\nopener for Zita Swoon). This fall their third - and right\naway their ripest - album will be released: ‘Hilfe\nKommt’. All that\, produced by Paul Webb or rather Rustin\nMan. He once played bass with Talk Talk and under the\nmoniker Rustin Man he’s worked together with James\nYorkston and Beth 'Portishead' Gibbons. A\nbreakthrough album? Who knows. The single ‘Carry On’\ncertainly sounds remarkably accessible by Dez Mona standards\n(the name\, by the way\, is derived from the character\nDesdemona - Othello’s unhappy wife in the play by\nShakespeare).
