DESCRIPTION:Until March 2006 these Dead Souls went through life purely\nas a homage to Joy Division. Their excellent impression of\nthis legendary post-punk/new wave band from Manchester\nprovided them with cult status. But this foursome found that\nit made more sense to concentrate on their own work when\nrecording. Of course you can still hear echoes of Ian Curtis\n& Co. but just as well shreds of Editors\, Jesus And\nMary Chain and Sonic Youth. Their debut 'Cognac &\nCoffee' was also spot on: Record of the Week and\n'houdt het imago van Leuven als Manchester-aan-de-Dijle\nhoog' (Focus Knack)\, 'un disque dans l'air du\ntemps\, si on tient compte du succès croissant\nd'Interpol et autres Editors' (RifRaf).
