He and\nhis Primitive Horn Orchestra also happen to play for popular\nvenues worldwide\, with songs plucked from 5 albums - of\nwhich the 2 most recent (‘King Hokum’ and ‘Jungle\nBlues’) contain mostly own work. A number of excellent\ninterpretations on television (from Later With Jools Holland\nto De Laatste Show) made him a true star\, even with music\nthat trendy folk would consider to be completely dated too.\nBut it's precisely his fresh approach\, whereby he\nallows his own songs to marinate for a while in the swinging\nvintage calypso-style\, that would appear to be so popular.\nA result that he further embellishes with elements of\nblues\, vaudeville\, ragtime\, hill-billy and jazz.On\nWednesday 22 February 2012 Christopher William (long for\nC.W.) Stoneking returns to Belgium for a concert in the AB. \n  Support-act will be Gemma Ray from Berlin. There's a\nnew album expected in February\, entitled 'Gemma Ray\nSings Sparks (with Sparks)'. Jimmy Page is already a fan\nof this young lady.
