DESCRIPTION:Belgian rock sensation presents new album full of stylized\nsongs.The new album 'Harlequins Of Love' by Belgian\nsensation Customs will be released on September 23 and as\nfar as the sound goes it differs substantially from its\nsuccessful predecessor. Aside from the typical Customs\npatterns\, singer Kristof Uittebroek\, bassist Joan\nGovaerts\, guitarist Jelle Janse and drummer Ace Zec take on\na new arsenal of sounds that make ‘Harlequins Of Love’ a\nfresh sounding and enduring album. Four big hits came from\ntheir first one\, ‘Enter The Characters’: ‘Rex’\,\n‘Justine’\, ‘The Matador’ and ‘Shut Up\nNarcissus’. The first single from ‘Harlequins’ made it\nimmediately made Hot Shot at Studio Brussel and a second\nsingle 'Velvet Love' is on it's way. Their new\nCD was produced by Jo Francken (Triggerfinger\, Admiral\nFreebee) and mastered in the famous Abbey Road studio in\nLondon where the services of Geoff Pesche (Gorillaz\, Pulp\,\nColdplay) were called upon. The ABBox is the next stop in\nCustoms' 2011 tour. - EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA –CUSTOMS\nCHECK-IN POINTSCheck in to one of the Customs shows this\nsummer and win a duo-ticket + meet & greet with the band\nfor the show in the Ancienne Belgique on 15 November! At\nevery Customs show this summer you can you can use your\nmobile phone to check in via Facebook Places and Foursquare\nand indicate you're present at the concert. After each\nshow the band will indicate a winning checked-in audience\nmember to receive a duo-ticket for the show in the AB on 15\nNovember and also a meet & greet with the band after the\nshow.    The Me in You\, a fivesome with roots in Hageland\,\nattempts to convert melancholy into catchy melodies and\npolyphonic harmonies. The band came into being in 2009 and\nright from the start they appeared solidly anchored in the\nmusical heritage that stretches from The Byrds to\nSparklehorse. A first demo was picked up by the Noisesome\nlabel (Customs\, Motek) that last summer gave them the\nopportunity to record their debut album. The recordings took\nplace in the renowned La Chapelle studios with producer\nJoris Caluwaerts (Zita Swoon\, The Go Find). The album was\nmixed by Bob Hermans\, known from Stijn and The Go Find. The\nrelease of first single ‘Girl in Armour’ – which will\nprecede the album - is planned for October.
