DESCRIPTION:British/Spanish electro-acoustic band\, mestizo and dubstep\nparty in equal parts.British/Spanish Crystal Fighters round\noff a nice year with a concert in the AB Box on Wednesday 7\nDecember. Formed in Navarro\, the band swapped Spain for the\nLondon Indie dance scene\, where it experiments wholesale\nwith Basque instruments\, synthesizers and voices. After a\nfew warmly welcomed showcases at the Eurosonic festival in\nGroningen in January 2011 they have slowly but surely taken\nover the radio waves with their single ‘Swallow’; equal\nparts mestizo and dubstep. The AB Club gig in May sold out\nin next to no time. Since then the singles ‘At Home’ and\nmore recently ‘Plage’ and ‘Champion Sound’ (a great\nremix by ‘our’ Addicted Kru Sound) have been released\nfrom their debut album ‘Star Of Love’. They also\nbrightened the mood at the Leffingeleuren festival (‘rich\ndubstep and funky beats’ – De Morgen … ‘in their\nbest moments reminiscent of Manu Chao’ – Focus Knack)\,\nso it must be high time they made their appearance in the AB\nBrussels.    Vadoinmessico is a collection of musicians from\nMexico\, Italy\, Austria and the United Kingdom who are\ncurrently hiding out in London. They've been compared\nmusically with Animal Collective and Arcade Fire. Their\nsingle ‘Pepita\, Queen of The Animals’ mixes African\nrhythms with stunning melodies. A fine forerunner for what\nis to come. In the meantime\, brand new song ‘Teeo’ has\nbeen released (with a Crystal Fighters remix).              \n
