DESCRIPTION:Now a newsflash from our favourite American guitar star:\n'NEW RECORD: 'Mexico City sessions'. I've\nrecorded deep in the "bible belt" and in the heart\nof the "money belt". Never been to the\n"borscht belt" but I've heard of it. Anyway\,\nthis time around it's Mexico. Mexico City is like the\nRosetta Stone of our own urban future. I was there couple\nmonths back and found a state of the art studio (state of\nart circa 1958) and fell in love with the place. As the\nbottom falls out of the big lie here at home\, I'll be\naiming my telescope backwards from a vantage point 7\,000\nfeet up in the "city of eternal spring". And\nreally\, who doesn't like spring?'Hmmm\, hopefully\nChuck will make it out of Mexico City in good health once\nthe fever has waned\, because this is not to be missed. This\nprophet preaches extremely sincere rock 'n' roll\npassion with his electric guitar. Ever inventive and\nprecise. He's been delivering impressive solo CDs since\n1990\, but hopefully you also know him as the sharp sideman\nor song-provider to Dan Penn\, Solomon Burke\, Alejandro\nEscovedo\, Cake\, Warren Zevon\, Silos (remember AB BelleVue\nClub?) and of course the divine Green On Red.
