SUMMARY:Bring Me The Horizon + The Devil Wears Prada + Architects
LOCATION:AB Grote zaal (Anspachlaan 110\, 1000 Brussel)
DESCRIPTION:Bring Me The Horizon is back with a vengeance! Their new\nalbum will be out in October and is titled ‘There Is A\nHell\, Believe Me I’ve Seen It\, There Is A Heaven\,\nLet’s Keep It A Secret’. The band became a worldwide\nphenomenon thanks to MySpace (almost 500\,000 friends and\nmusic that has been listened to 45 million times). BMTH has\nshared stages with bands like Lostprophets\, A Day To\nRemember and The Haunted - just to name a few - and has\ncompletely blown away audiences in Australia\, South\nAmerica\, Asia and Europe (blowing the roof off AB in\nNovember 2009 ). The band completed its second Vans Warped\ntour this past summer and was - once again - the band with\nthe hardest pits and the biggest queues for signing\nsessions. The successor to the successful ‘Suicide\nSeason’ was (just as the first album) recorded in Sweden\nwith producer Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy\, Dimmu Borgir)\nand contains guest performances by Josh Scogin (The\nChariot)\, Josh Franceschi (YouMeAtSix)\, Sonny Moore and\nextra electronica from KC Blitz (who also previously\ncollaborated on the ‘The Cut Up’ remix album). As ever\,\nBring Me The Horizon always manages to get hold of a few\nprime support acts too. American metalcore band The Devil\nWears Prada managed to convince many fans of the genre with\ntheir third studio-album ‘With Roots Above And Branches\nBelow’. The new Architects album ‘The Here And Now’\nwill be released in January 2011\, all the more reason to\ntow this British mathcore band along on the road. The\nnight will be kicked off by DJ-duo Tek-One. ‘We are\nTek-One. We are a brand new duo who make music out of\ncircuit bent children’s toys\, broken keyboards\,\nshort-circuited toy amps\, anything with AA batteries and a\nlow bit-rate that was built in Taiwan and designed to amuse\na young child for 30 seconds. We keep them alive\, and to\nthank us they produce aleatoric chance noises’.Tek-One\nalso provided the dubstep-remix of Bring Me The Horizon’s\n‘Sleep With One Eye Open’ that can be found on the\nremix-version of their album ‘Suicide Season’. Other\nremixes were created by Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan\n(Slipknot)\, Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Ian\nWatkins (Lostprophets). \n
