DESCRIPTION:As part of Belgian Black History Month\, we will be hosting\n3 live broadcasts on the AB Facebook page\, putting the\nspotlight on some very promising black talent. Some may have\nalready made a name for themselves\, either through A COLORS\nSHOW\, by taking part in De Nieuwe Lichting or because they\nhave previously graced the stage at AB. Others have not yet\nfound fame\, but are no less worthy of discovery. On the\n17th\, 18th and 19th of March\, we offer a very warm welcome\nto our rising stars. On Thursday 18 March\, we look forward\nto spending some time with IKRAAAN and nanaKILL.IKRAAAN\nwears her heart on her sleeve. The obstacles she finds on\nher path\, and her deepest\, most painful feelings are\nharnessed to form the inspiration for her music. Her\nsingular debut EP ‘HAPPY PILL’ and consequent singles\n‘Alleen'\, ‘COBRA’ and ‘WAAROM’ have\nestablished her as one of the most inspiring new voices in\nBelgian music. This self-proclaimed glitter princess is\ncurrently working on her debut album\, which will see her\nclaim the crown that is already rightfully hers.nanaKILL is\nstill very new on the scene\, but has already been dubbed\n‘one to watch’. Her love for 90s R&B is evident in\nher soulful voice and compelling beats. Her latest single\n‘FREAK’ - and the accompanying video - have certainly\nbeen on repeat in our office. Check out the full program\nhere.
