This\nyear alone\, Benjamin Biolay was producer of the latest\nCD’s from Julien Clerc ('Où s'en vont les\navions?') and Coralie Clément ('Toystore'). As\nauthor and composer\, he recently wrote for Isabelle Boulay\nand Elodie Frégé. As arranger\, he was responsible for the\nstrings on the latest Carla Bruni CD. As actor\, he even\nplayed in Stella\, a film to be released in the fall of\n2009. But there’s more: it is especially as Benjamin\nBiolay\, singer-musician\, that he is an astoundingly\ncreative source. Elegantly navigating between melancholy\nchanson and urgently longing pop\, he provides us with\nsplendid albums like 'Négatif'\, 'Trash\nYéyé'\, and soon too a brand new CD\, recorded in the\nICP in Brussels!His vocal timbre and arrangements\, his\nphoto poses and live-interpretations...
