DESCRIPTION:This concert is postponed to April 16th.    Xavier Rudd\nprotégé finally has own CD and tour in AB He has already\nbeen Xavier Rudd's unsurpassed support act a few times\nand we got to know him as 'the semi-fragile but\ngenuinely quite unique Ben Howard – a rather pale British\nsurfer but\, above all\, his melancholy voice and\ninteresting guitar style are very exciting!' It was also\napparent how he won souls each time\, definitely with his\nlive-act: there's not a single mild melomaniac who could\nresist this.  So now Ben Howard has finally finished his\ndebut CD - 'Every Kingdom' (via Pias.) - and\nhe'll be heading over to the old continent immediately\nafter an extensive British tour at the end of the year. (He\ndidn't manage to make it here in February 2010 due to a\ntrain accident just below Brussels\, we just mention it for\nthe seriously disappointed fans at the time.) Anyway\, this\ntoo in his own open-hearted words: 'I was brought up in\nTotnes\, South Devon.. neatly nestled between the moors and\nthe sea. I travel lots\, surf when I can\, probably drink\ntoo much\, definitely think too much\, and at 22 still make\nirrational choices. I like the outdoors and the Autumn.\nI'm happiest on the road or at home with friends.\nMusically I started playing and writing as a kid and\nit's maybe the one thing that's never changed. Mum\nwas a big listener to all the greats- the likes of John\nMartyn\, Joni Mitchell\, The Rolling Stones\, Simon and\nGarfunkel\, Donovan etc so that's played a big part in\nmy life (Dad was more of a Yes and Pink Floyd man).
