DESCRIPTION:BEAK> feat. Geoff Barrow (Portishead)\, Matt Williams\n(Team Brick) and Billy Fuller (Fuzz Against Junk)   \nBEAK> was established in January 2009 by three musicians\nfrom Bristol: Billy Fuller\, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow.\nWe know the latter from the masterful Portishead\, of\ncourse\, where he served as producer as well as musician.\nBilly Fuller could be found previously in the live bands of\nMassive Attack and Robert Plant. BEAK>'s work ethic\nis based upon simplicity: recording take place in a living\nroom and they don’t make overdubs\, the computer is only\nused to create arrangements. BEAK>’s debut will be\nreleased on Barrow’s Invada label in October\, and in\nNovember in the US on Mike Patton’s Ipecac label.   \nSupport act for the BEAK> concert will be trio Thought\nForms. Their debut was released previously on Geoff\nBarrow's Invada label. NME wrote of it: "This debut\ntruly swaggers with the confidence of a band that could look\nup from its shoes and grab you screaming by the\nthroat.". Barrow in turn then declared:\n"They're raw - almost grungey - but they've got\nthat shoegazing thing going on too.
