DESCRIPTION:From 28 August to 1 September\, the doors of Bar Chaud will\nopen on the festival site of Boterhammen In Het Park and\nFeeërieën\, in the Brussels Park. It’ll be the perfect\nspot to try out something new\, take part in exciting\nworkshops\, or just hang out with your friends.11:00 - 12:00\nI Mindful Morning Moment: Sound Healing (FULLY BOOKED)We\nstart the week by taking a moment for ourselves during a\nSound Healing session. Sound Healing is a form of meditation\nthat uses instruments\, music\, certain tones\, and sonic\nvibrations to restore the balance of your body and\nmind.  14:00 - 14:20 I Spoken word performance with\nMuntpunt X Michiko In partnership with Muntpunt\, we have\norganised an afternoon around the book Ode aan de\nVerwondering\, written by Caroline Pauwels with\nillustrations by Gerda Dendooven and poems by Bart\nMoeyaert\, for the 1 stad\, 19 boeken project. For this\nperformance\, we will spend a moment considering the here\nand now\, in the middle of Brussels Park in the heart of the\ncity\, where we will witness how Michiko turns Ode aan de\nVerwondering into a wonderful spoken word performance.\nMichiko (they/them) is a performance artist in spoken word\nand contemporary movement\, based in Antwerp. Their name\nstands for child of the way. As they follow their self-made\npath with obstacles and growth\, they write down the\nunspoken but recognized aspects of life. Their work is\ninspired by lyrical text and theatrical poetry. Age: all\nages. Participation is free\, no registration. 15:00 -\n18:00 I Workshop ‘healing through poetry &\npainting’ with Break Free Babes x Painting VibesIn\ncooperation with Muntpunt\, for the project 1 city\, 19\nbooks\, we are organising an afternoon around the book Ode\naan de Verwondering\, written by Caroline Pauwels with\nillustrations by Gerda Dendooven and poems by Bart Moeyaert.\nFor this workshop\, we will discuss together what Ode aan de\nVerwondering means to you under the guidance of spoken word\nartists of Break Free Babes and painting artists of\nPaintingvibes using poetry and illustrations. After a group\ndiscussion\, you will work individually on a canvas with the\nhelp of some pre-made outlines. All material is provided\,\nyou bring your own surprise.From 16 years. Participation is\nfree\, but registration is recommended via this form.
