DESCRIPTION:Timings 7:00 pm doors 8:00 pm Ayo    At 19\, Ayo moved to\nLondon in her quest for her love for music\, but it was only\nwhen she moved on to Paris that Ayo realised her dream\,\nbecoming an artist\, and signed to her label\, Polydor\nFrance.With her captivating\, magnetic voice\, she has since\nstolen the hearts of her audience\, initiated by the success\nof her debut smash single\, 'Down On My Knees'\,\nthat saw the album 'Joyful' rise to the top of the\nalbum chart. Close to 750\,000 copies of the album were sold\nworldwide. Ayo took her cool\, seductive style outside\nFrance\, releasing Joyful in over 40 markets worldwide.By\nearly 2008\, her insatiable appetite for travel found Ayo\ndropping her bags in The Bahamas. She locked herself away in\nthe fabled Compass Point Studios\, owned by Chris\nBlackwell\, founder of the equally-renowned\, Island\nRecords.Working alongside the ghosts of past recording\nsessions by such greats as Bob Marley and The Rolling\nStones\, Ayo developed her songs the old-fashioned way using\nvintage analog equipment. After working with Norah Jones\,\nJay Newland returned to co-produce with Ayo after their\nsuccessful collaboration on Joyful. With further\ncollaborations from Lucky Peterson on keyboards\, and former\nBob Dylan collaborator Larry Campbell on guitar\, 13 songs\nwere finalised as the album\, 'Gravity At Last.'This\nsecond collection of songs continues the quality shown by\nits predecessor\, with the hushed but powerful voice\nrecorded with desire to capture the moment and was released\nin five days.
