DESCRIPTION:Due to circumstances beyond our control Christine Abdelnour\nwill be replaced for her duo concert with The Ex guitarist\nAndy Moor by the Polish\, in Amsterdam residing\, piano\nplayer Marta Warelis. Moor and Warelis both amazed as part\nof Frank Rosaly’s Ruidoscuro. at last years Summer Bummer\nFestival. For this exclusive occasion at AB salon they will\nperform for the first time ever as duo.London born Andy\nMoor\, lives in Amsterdam and is a founding member of Dog\nFaced Hermans and Kletka Red\, and continues to be a full\ntime member of The Ex since 1990. As guitarist\,\nphotographer and composer he is involved in collaborations\nwith Anne-James Chaton\, Alva Noto\, Thurston Moore\, DJ\n/Rupture\, John  Butcher and Yannis  Kyriakides and has\nongoing projects with improvisation groups Lean Left with\nTerrie Ex\, Ken Vandermark and Paal Nilssen-Love and Thermal\nwith Butcher and Thomas Lehn. Pianist Marta Warelis is one\nof the mainstays of the vibrant Amsterdam improvscene. As a\nprominent member of Amsterdam’s Stichting Doek she creates\nopportunities for experimentation\, research and performance\nand collaborates frequently with renowned artists such as\nDave Douglas\, Eric Boeren\, Michael Moore\, Ab Baars en\nMike Reed or bands as Hupata!\, Omawi\, PolyBand\, Frank\nRosaly’s Ruidoscuro.\, Edge Ensemble.
